Thurla Industrial Park has been strategically developed as a dedicated industrial precinct, providing industrial businesses the opportunity to be located within a non-urban location, minimising impacts to surrounding neighbours, but with the added bonus of being a short drive to other commercial and retail facilities, and residential accommodations.
Stage 1 of the Thurla Industrial Park has proven to be a highly desirable location for many industrial businesses, with over 50% of the land sold. Expectations for Stage 2 are well founded, 4 allotments sold to date.
Some of the purchasing industries within Stage 1 include, but are not limited to, transport, concrete, earthmoving, oil and engineering companies. Key attributes of the industrial precinct are:

Location: The Thurla Industrial Park is located approximately 10 kilometres west of the rural township of Red Cliffs, on the Millewa Road (formerly known as Red Cliffs-Meringur Road1).
The Red Cliffs-Meringur Road was re-named in recent years, and many of the mapping resources available are yet to be updated with this change. The Land: The Stage 1 freehold properties are described as Lots 1 to 33 on PS537855U within the Local Government area of Mildura Rural City Council. Stage 1 is located on the Millewa Road, 2.3 kilometres west of Benetook Avenue. The inter roadways of the subdivision are known as Stonehouse Court and Beasley Drive. The Stage 2 freehold properties are described as Lots 1 to 27 on PS616785A within the Local Government area of Mildura Rural City Council.
Stage 2 is located on the intersection of Millewa Road and Benetook Avenue. Entry to the subdivision is via Benetook Avenue, into Greentek Court.

Primarily the surrounding area is utilised for a range of dry land farming and horticultural purposes. However, immediately to the north of the Stage 2 development is the Lower Murray Water’s Thurla wastewater plant, which is buffered by significant trees. To the west of Benetook Avenue is the decommissioned Murray Basin titanium separation plant. A large irrigated horticultural development is located on the southern side of Millewa Road.
Crown Land is located in-between the southern boundaries of Stages 1 and 2 and Millewa Road.
